Always great tasting fresh fish here. Grilled, panko crumbled or battered. Potato and Kamara chips available and also in half scoop sizes. The online ordering system is very handy. Have been here several times and order is ready in time too. Highly recommend. Worth the few extra dollars.

Awesome service, friendly smiles and delicious food, the Guinness beer battered fish for St Patricks day was amazing and the chips light and fluffy on the inside. If your in Mt Eden I definitely recommend The Mariner

A great find and my new favourite in Auckland. Panko crumbed fish and hand cut potatoe chips delicious. Very fresh, great service and not the least bit greasy. Definitely recommend Mariner.

I used to love this place, not just for its fresh fish, but for the real chips, not the frozen and fried kind you get in most places. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. I hope they go back to the old way of making their chips.
