Right close to Takapuna beach ️ ... Ample parking ️ ... Great hospitality ... Awesome food ... Tried their coffee, hot chocolate, Eggs your way and folded ommlette ... They've also got a nice outdoor dining area and a secret alley that leads to it!!

A good cafe to visit once in a while, where you can enjoy the patio style seating. It does get busy so best to call and reserve a table. Food looks and tastes good. Price wise it is on par with other fancy cafes. 50 for 2 roughly. The wait for food is a bit long but worth it. Staff are really friendly. Best to park on Killarney St if you can’t find on Hurstmere Rd itself.
We stopped here for a coffee after going for an early morning weekend walk along takapuna beach ( so many dogs !). We only had a coffee and we were really impressed . We thoroughly recommend visiting this cafe and having a coffee, they know what they're doing with their coffee machine. I also liked the green ambiance of the cafe. So top marks for this little gem of a cafe and their fantastic coffee machine and staff !
Cute little back patio ! It is an asian cafe that offers your typical cafe food with a slight twist. The waffle was a little dried but flavours were good ! Only giving a four star because the food took ages! Still worth coming, but it’s more like your first and last time kinda cafe.
Although the Food was of a high standard, unfortunately the service was not. Very slow and they were not busy. Bit disappointing.
Not enough reviews here mention the coffee, it's A game all day here for the coffee. If you think the photos on here all look like they are posed professional photos it's because the plate presentation is just perfect. Oh yeah, the food is mega tasty too, just in case taste is more important to you than presentation.

What at first appears to be a simple and cozy cafe front hides a delightful hideaway garden where delicious food can be enjoyed in a open and airy setting. The waffle and fried chicken and the pancakes are certainly highlights in a simple yet enjoyable menu. Highly recommended as an excellent alternative to the busy beach front options.
