We could not be more thrilled with the outcome of our training with Bastian, our only regret is that we didn't seek training support sooner. After bringing our dog over from the US we had just settled into the fact that our dog's Shack's excited lunging on walks and aggressive barking at visitors meant we had to compromise our lifestyle to keep him from acting out. After the first 2 hour session with Bastian we quickly realized we didn't have to compromise our own lives to have a happy and obedient dog. After 3 sessions we feel like we have a new dog and can walk without fear of him acting out, leave him at home alone without incessant barking, and again have visitors over to our home. We acquired the tools and coaching needed to change both ours and our dog's behavior through training and would absolutely refer TheK9Way.
We’ve got 3 month old puppy (Low chen x Toy poodle) who is high energy and biting and jumping up to get our attention. Bastian has changed his world on the first day when he came to our home. Our puppy learnt boundary within 24 hours by his training. He showed us how to train him, it was very simple and logical. We are very confident how to deal with our puppy now. Much appreciated what Bastian gave us the big result! Highly recommend Bastian for all dog owners.
Meet Bastian, Auckland's resident dog whisperer. We have two older shelter dogs who we love to bits but they came with a few bad habits. After one lesson with Bastian we realised that the dogs weren't so much the problem- we weren't telling them what we need in a way that they understand. They went from pulling on their leads like they wanted to take off to calmly walking on a lead within 20 minutes. In a month we went from having two manic dogs that barked and dug holes in the garden, whom we couldn't trust in our house, to having two calm and happy doggos that we now trust and leave in the house while we're out- without even a second thought. I never expected that the training would be that effective. Bastian is highly recommended and worth every cent!
What a result! I would definitely recommend Bastian as a dog trainer (and a human trainer ). The results just blew us away. I was embarrassed and worried to walk my 8 months old German shepherd. She used to pull hard on the leach, bite the leach and jump when we cross the road and bark at everything e-scooter, people, bikes, runners. People stepped away when passing us. I bought a harness and a muzzle but it was not working. Bastian took the time to listen to us and our difficulties and explain really clearly what we should do and how we should react to have an obedient dog. After a few minutes training, the changes were visible and then all we had to do was to put on practice. I love my dog and so does my 3 kids. Now I am walking my dog really proudly, no pulling, no barking. A total different experience. Thank you Bastian!
we have seen such a huge change with our 11 year old dog. My partner and I adopted Marley from a Family member when they told us they didnt have the time for him and he had developed some less than desirable behaviors (lead aggression towards other dogs, pacing, obsessive licking and chasing shadows). We have seen such a huge improvement in behavior over the last few months. Would highly recommend Bastian
I have a 6 month old Samoyed named Smirny, a stubborn young family member, who would pee and poo inside the house, never listen to a command with or without force, only when there was a treat in front of him, almost like bribing him every time. He would pull on the leash very aggressively while walking, and bark to the point where we got a noise complaint and a noise abatement notice. I’ve now done some one on one training and a board and train with Bastian. Honestly, it’s been amazing. Imagine walking a young stubborn pup after a 5 day board and train, who doesn’t pull on the leash, who barks once to let us know he needs to pee, who now always pees and pops outside and looks at us when he needs to go outside. Who listens to my commands, and is getting there with the rest of the family members. I can’t recommended him enough, he is a life saver and in general a good guy, with practical recommendations!
I contacted bastion in a very desperate plea for help as council is seeking the destruction of my Jack Russell. Bastion told me, in no uncertain terms, that he did not want to help. I do not reccomend this trainer
