Super delicious pizza! We went as part of First Table and the dough, the crust dips, the toppings were all divine! We also got the sangria which was really good as well. Will be back for sure!

Delicious! Bases were a great texture- pillowy, light and fantastically chewy. Had the artichoke dip for the crust and it was flavourful and the perfect accompaniment. Toppings were perfectly balanced flavour and quantity wise. Lasagna had all the delicious things you want in one- crispy, cheesy top with silky pasta and tangy tomato, but was still lovely and light. Service was great!

Decided to give this place a go before a recent game at Eden Park with the family and was underwhelmed with the attitude of the barman. First no cider and then they don't do fries which was not a problem but it was an 'if you don't like it tough attitude'. The food we did get was very good so that was not an issue. Considering the times we live in and the struggles we keep hearing that the hospitality industry is facing, you would have thought that these are the times where they would want to really make up for lost earnings and have a positive attitude to keep people coming back. I like most others am not demanding and understand people like to act cool, but there is a fine line between acting cool and being ignorant.

I mean, it’s good. But kinda at the level Sal’s or something is. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend Umu but it is genuinely tasty pizza... maybe a bit pricey for what it is.

Amazing! The base is perfect Neapolitan style. Nice and puffy and chewy but thin in the middle. Excellent work. Great bartender and lovely staff. Glad they have hard sparkling available too

By far one of the best sourdough woodfire pizza's in Auckland. Great staff and great service. Wpuld totally recommend if your in the area!!

Disappointed with my Pizza with seeing all the 5 star reviews. Was expecting the base to be crispy and hold firm but it was soggy without any substance at all. Thank you for the reply back Umu, I may give in another try. That's very much appreciated.

Walking through the door you're greeted by the friendly staff at the front making pizzas and cooking them in a huge wood fired oven. It's not just pizza, there is an adjoining bar with craft beers on tap and top notch spirits. Pizzas are just numbered because of they're not your usual toppings. It makes for a hard choice because they all sound fantastic. And they taste just as good as they sound - absolutely delicious and made with quality ingredients.
