Best noodles I’ve eaten in Auckland. It was a great homely vibe eating in ushang’s kitchen and his grandmother provided great conversation while I waited for my food. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves noodles.

Ushang served the food in quick tidy manner and it was excellent he then sat down and shared a beer as well. That too FREE OF CHARGE!! What a lad!! Fully recommend!! Will be back again!

From the outside what seems to be a typical suburban house, turns into a warm, friendly and culturally diverse setting with delicious food. From the moment you step in, it completely immerses you into the Cantonese culture. I have lived in Hong Kong for a few years and it had seemed as if from the moment I ate at this restaurant that I was back there. Although like many great restaurants it did have its draw backs. I mean I do understand why some of the critics were not appreciative of another server, yet I found him to be quite pleasant. That being said, unfortunately he had mixed up our vegetarian noodles with an egg noodles which had triggered an allergic reaction in our family. But it turns out Uting is actually a medical student and had shown great care in fixing this. People who have been assuming things about Uting. Grow up! He doesn't mean to look at your children that way, he is only cross-eyed Ushanglee Noodles is the next big thing, mark my words. Just a head's up best not to call on the phone line.
