We usually go to Western Springs speedway and had good time there. Today was our first visit to Waikaraka and so far it’s been a bit disappointing. Not enough parking and proper seating arrangements. Food carts were queued loooong and a bit of a shower created a mess and race had to be put on hold for quite a while and later on many races were cancelled and they jumped to the last even straight. Would prefer western springs. Specially when you are paying the same price...

Awesome for families, not too expensive, you can bring your own food in, as well as buy hotdogs etc.. Hotdog on a stick 3. Lots of racing different classes of cars.. Wrap up, it might start warm sitting in the sun, later on it cools off. Hat and sunglasses for all the family recommended as can get dusty. Also if you wear closed in shoes you can visit the cars in the pits..

Loved how you can get right up to the track. Very well organised race meeting. Great beer garden - nice helpful door security. Easy parking next to the cemetery - with staff on hand to direct us to a good spot. Loved how we could get access to the pits and see all the stock cars up close.

We usually love coming to speedway, but very disappointed this time. They need more food trucks! The lines are ridiculously long which results on us missing out on what we came here for.

Easter spectacular full on family entertainment. Slightly spoiled by people still arriving looking fir a seat after the first threee races had completed, so planyour night & get thete early
