I first met Jo Cardinal about 5 years ago, which was 16 months after I’d suffered a prolapsed disk in my back. I had limited movement and it was becoming increasingly painful in most aspects of my life. I feared I could become quite immobile and contacted a local Pilates instructor to see if Pilates could help me. Due to the nature of my injury, she recommended I go to Jo and it is undoubtedly one of the best referrals I have ever been given. As a direct result of attending one of Jo’s classes every week, I now have good flexibility in my back and am virtually pain free. Jo’s classes are always challenging and always fun and the conditioning, core strength and flexibility you get are really good. My wife has been a regular at another of Jo’s classes now for 3 years. Jo is the most consistent instructor we’ve ever been involved with. Her enthusiasm, her attention to detail and her levels of motivation are the same at each class week in week out. If you are interested in Pilates for conditioning, for fitness or because of injury, then I highly recommend you give Jo a call.

West Physio is the best! I'm not as regular as I'd like to be, but I do keep returning when I can. The workout is intense with a few laughs thrown in too, and I'm not sure I've ever had the same class twice. Jo is a fantastic teacher!

Jo's classes have been excellent at helping me manage chronic back pain for a number of year's now. Jo's classes are very friendly, safe and small and you get very personalised special attention. As Jo is also an experienced physio her classes she really knows how the body works and how to use pilates to achieve long term physical benefits. Jo's pilates classes also complement other sports and physical activity and help build strength and reduce injury.
