The staff are great, their kindness and care are what makes this place home for the residents

Care was not great ..only one nurse there we trusted , broke stuff never advised or took responsibility..bad attitude on several staff members..administration took no responsibility for anything..wish I had never put my mum there

Bainswood staff are very helpful and really do provide great care to the elderly in the rest home. There are activities group outings and for game evenings. The food is very good and family members can join the person staying in Bainswood for tea at a very reasonable low price. The rooms are clean, nice and well serviced. Be reassured if there is an emergency help is on hand very quickly. There is good parking onsite also.

Not my favorite rest home. My father spent 2wks there for respite care. We specified that dad needed regular toileting as he is incontinant. That didn't happen and I often found dad with wet pants. Also his oncontinant products regularly went missing (used on other clients as pads are under lock and key and any xtras are not avail to carers. I found that out from dad who had to watch as they helped themselves to not only pass but his grapes, his lollies. Not on staff!!!
