System has completely failed and condemned by local council after 8 years. 13 K to replace. Installed a Taylex system.

I purchased a property with a Biolytix system that is approx 10 years old. It has failed twice in 9 months. I found the service agent in our region very rude and he stated he will not service our system. No help from head office despite numerous requests. Everyone I have talked to (quite extensive) including people who have installed/worked on Biolytix systems say they work well when they are working right but are temperamental and prone to failure which can be expensive. Because of our experience we have opted to spend money on a new system that is less hassle. I would not recommend these systems unless you have time and money to throw at it.

Our system broke down after 3 years. No support, no help. Two years later, they are still not even returning email to me or our insurance company. Theory of them is great. But reality is, when something goes wrong deep down like with the filters, a total rebuild or new system is required. Apparently same cost to rebuild as a new system.

We were sent an invoice 12 months after the job was done, then, when we asked for a discount on it to show some commitment towards customer service, we got a long winded response about how we enjoyed the use of the money in the mean-time and that carrying the cost was his. Probably the worst reply from a service related company I have experienced. I have cancelled our business relationship.

As a service contractor, I service many different brands. I see biolytix tanks with reg 12 month service and good customer consideration to the environment, stand head and shoulders above many others. Tanks that are 6-8 years old that look new on the inside,have never needed a sucker truck and use min pwr. With care these tanks pay for themselves. They mimic nature and work regards to all Fraser penny (waikato)
