I go to Bird on a Wire because it’s hard to find a low key salad in town without some bogan cafe throwing Mayo in a bowl of potato’s and call it one. But still, for something as basic as chicken on a bowl of shredded cabbage and carrot it’s really expensive at 18. The slaw was shredded so finely it’s hard to actually eat with a fork and the chicken is just ok. It’d be much better if the salad was chunkier and the chicken was shredded and tossed through the salad. Anyway - I’ll still eat here because it’s nice to have lighter options sometimes.

Stopped in to grab a bite while shopping. The food was fresh and tasty, but what really stood out was the great, friendly service that we received from Alexis. She really was a star and I would definitely not hesitate to come back.

Went in for lunch... long 30mins wait for the Korean fried chicken bowl. The chicken was luke-warm and not very nice. Had to ask twice for the empty communal water jug to be filled, with no urgency. This could be such an awesome place, but just needs a bit of work... Hopefully constructive criticism :)

Awesome all day brunch. If you’re hungry the “Mother clucker “ is for you, yum. 2 eggs, 2 rosti, bacon, buttermilk fried chicken, portobello mushrooms, rocket & sourdough. 23ish.

The service was top notch, the food for breakfast was amazing! There's a reason this place has 5 stars for breakfast. Was it worth the 25 each? Hell yes! Two hints: 1. Clean aprons for the waitress/table clearer. 2. The buttermilk chicken was just a little on the dry side.

Very very bad place to eat. We are hungry and waited for 40 min to get the food. Food quality very bad and smelly. We left all the food. No customer service, no greetings very bad experience. Never go again

They don't care about service and customers. They mentioned they close at 8.30pm and we have visited them at 6.30pm. Declined to give seats even though restaurant was completely empty and reason given was we have to clean the tables so we will only do take aways.. seriously.... !! How would you do the business when you have that attitude.. PATHETIC. WARNING ️ DO NOT VISIT THEM.
