Unfortunately can’t recommend. Anna and Rose were really nice but were promoting an absolute one sided natural approach that put a lot of guilt on everyone who couldn’t achieve it. The midwife Kass told us that home births are the only right thing to do instead of empowering parents to approach birth informed whatever curse it will take. Nothing can prepare you for your first birth, but birth wise made me feel bad and guilty about how it went down until I understood how unrealistic the picture was that birth wise was painting. Only good thing is that my group was very nice and I made lots of nice mum friends.

Wonderful - we attended an antenatal refresher and came away with newfound confidence in our parenting abilities - including what to do during labor and in the first few months after baby arrives. We would recommend Birth Wise to any new (and returning) parents without hesitation. Their courses are well structured with a good mixture of hands-on and theoretical knowledge. The facilitators are knowledgeable, respectful and have a great sense of humor, which never hurts!
