I visited with my four year-old son and the female dentist we saw was efficient, professional and gentle, explaining what she was doing and leaving him feeling on top of the world for having healthy teeth. She didn't make time to create a rapport or go over and above to make him feel comfortable but he was happy with his experience so that's all I had hoped for!

One of the most important aspects of being a dentist is making the patients feel comfortable and reassured. The main dentist here (Sam Brady) fails miserably on that count. On both occasions I went there, he was not only uninterested, but also rude when I posed him concerned queries regarding my dental health and the procedures. I was treated like a machine that needed some fixing- not a person. Not sure he did the job well either. Avoid!

While Sam may not exactly be Mr Cuddles, he has done a great job on my teeth for a great price. I'll go back for sure - he's picked up mistakes that previous dentists have made and fixed them.

The male dentist I saw (Dr. Brady) was very insincere. No effort to greet or talk to me like a person. He immediately told me that I won't have any teeth in 10 years if I don't get a night guard and stop grinding. Then, unprovoked, he said that my veneer was not done well and looked strange. Every time I tried to talk, he cut me off. His attitude does not reflect the sentiment he boasts about on his private practice's web page. A subsidized community health clinic would be much better off with someone who is more personable and down to earth. UPDATE: I went to see another dentist at Team Dental Riccarton, and after a proper exam, she told me that the wear on my lower incisors is primarily due to my deep bite, whereas grinding is not an issue. I have since seen an orthodontist at Ilam Orthodontics who reached the same conclusion and offered me advice on treatment options. Very glad I got a second opinion elsewhere.

you get what you pay for...dont expect decent customer service, no one at reception will greet you, no where to spit the blood in your mouth (except in their garden outside), the dentist is an arrogant douche
