This place is beautifully done! If you're looking for a nice getaway still within good distance of Auckland then I'd recommend this. No power, but there is ample candles and gas cooking and hot water on tap. The tiny fireplace heats efficiently, so much we had to open a window. The styling and little details really make this place beautiful. It's well thought out and has enough of what you need. I wouldn't love to stay when it's heavy rain as there's probably not enough shelter between the two spaces, and the BBQ and gas cooker are outside. 5 stars for allowing dogs, who loved roaming up around the trees and eating sticks. The host even provided a dog kennel for the dogs to sleep in.

Lovely place for staying here with natural beauty. It’s a place you can live with real rural feelings. They have all facilities for us. Kids and pets friendly place.
