Dishonest and disorganised. Paid just over 4k to move us around the corner (800m). We felt the price was good, Pat certainly was a good salesman. Moving chaps were strong and friendly, unfortunately they turned up a day earlier than agreed which caused a lot of stress and drama. Also we had agreed (on the written contract) we would get a 1 refund on every cartoon returned, but despite repeated communications from me they never paid. Moreover, Pat verbally agreed they would fix an internal wall that they dinged up, but they never did. They were substantially cheaper than alternatives, but definitely not worth it.

Pat and the team from Canterbury Movers are outstanding. We engaged 4 quotes initially and after working with them I would not even bother about getting a quote from another company again. Very competitive pricing and the guys turned up when they said the would, completed a massive amount of work in a short time and nothing was an issue. From start to finish they accommodated every need we had and the move went without a hitch. I can not recommend this company highly enough.

The men were personable and worked hard ,particularly in that there were stairs at each end of the move. Unfortunately a double door fridge freezer was damaged (written off) at the end of the shift. We had taken our own insurance cover as the insurance offered by Canterbury Movers was exorbitant ( no excess - no surprise there). We claimed on our own insurance (excess 250). We believe that Canterbury Movers had an ethical responsibility to refund the excess particularly in that their quote was much higher than others but having been recommended by a friend, we engaged them. The owner wasn't interested as we hadn't accepted their insurance. Be very aware that if you don't accept Canterbury Mover's insurance the company take all care but no responsibility for damage.
We would not recommend these furniture movers.We had a shift approx one and a half Kim’s. All furniture was prepared and ready for loading.The two young men were pleasant but very slow and spent a lot of time on their cell phones. We supplied them with coffee at lunch time and they stopped for half an hour which did not come off the account at the end. They were to go and help out at another job, but appeared to make our job spin out. Our job could have been finished a lot earlier. We were stunned at the cost and were even charged for the 1/2 hour they had off at lunch time. We contacted the management and they didn’t want to know.The shift was only large furniture, no boxes.
Kiwi will get it done attitude. Just ring and talk no computer hassles .Pat Budda and Will thanks heaps made it easy in trying times.

Brilliant - I picked them because they had 5 star reviews. Buddha & Tama were excellent. Nothing damaged, changes of plans were handled without a grumble.Its very rarely that I give a financial tip. Well done boys.
