Lovely café. Food is exceptional and service is even better. I recommend this place to families or even if you just need a coffee on a Sunday morning.

Great variety both in the cabinet and made to order. Had the garlic mushrooms which was super delicious. My daughter tried the New York croquettes and also the pancakes. She said the pancakes were delicious but a bit on the dry side.

Absolutely delicious food, I had the creamy mushrooms with a great coffee, and grabbed a packet of hot cross buns for later, and after eating them oh my golly I ate all 6 in one go

Large friendly cafe with big selection of great food and good coffee. Easy parking with fire in the cold weather.

Claiming to have the best food selection in the country would be true if the Bakery-Deli-Cafe catered to everyone. If you are gluten free and dairy free, I do not recommend entering. Nothing in the Deli cabinet was gluten free, let alone gluten free and dairy free or vegan. There was one gluten free muffin which wasn't dairy free and one vegan slice to choose from in the Bakery cabinet. I didn't even have a chance to look at the menu as there was a 40 minute wait on a Sunday afternoon. Time I didn't have as I was passing through. I didn't even stop for coffee as there was a 10-15 minute wait. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Visited on a Sunday around 1pm, busy place but still managed a table albeit outside along the footpath. I enjoyed the panini bought from the counter served hot with a little salad. Coffee was great too. Helpful and friendly staff and location is good in Carterton.

Just dropped in for a iced choc and iced coffee. Excellent. Good menu. Nice informal area.
