Very nice beach. Walk for 30-40 minutes and enjoy the silence when you come in early. Photos were taken at 7:30 in the morning with no one around.
Amazing place to visit. The water is clear, the sand is white, you would think you are on a tropical island. The walk to get there is not for the faint hearted. There is a sturdy track that is easy to follow but a fair few hills both there and back. You will also need to park at a large car park close to town and get a 5 pp shuttle to the stay of the walk. You can walk from the car park but it would take probably an extra 40 or so min.
A very beautiful place but a very long walk up a lot of long steep rises and 118 steps to the beach. 3/5 fitness level.
Amazing views. Beautiful clear waters. Take a hike 45 mins or so each way with bus to and from carpark to the top to enjoy the whole of the bay views if you are up for it. There's also water taxi from the Hahei Beach that will take you direct to the beach. Beautiful place.
Lovely walk from Hahei Beach to Cathedral Cove. Wear good walking shoes as it is steep in places and is a 50min walk each way. Take your togs and towel the beach at Cathedral Cove is fabulous.
So amazing, best to go in from Lees Road car park... Wear decent shoes... Enjoy
