Square mostly the way I remember it. Lots of missing buildings though. No doghouse a video game parlour that had excellent thick shakes with a lot of cream on the top. Very filling especially for a kid. No little lanes with a magic shop. Two excellent tea rooms not cafes. Their gone. Sad really. Still. The post office is still there.

Enjoyed our ride around the square and town on one of the trams. I love the commentary which is different with each driver.

Eh. Whatever. You must visit this place when in Christchurch. Still in renovation from many years.

What a shame ! still not renovated after 10 years of the earthquake. Beautiful cathedral , built in the heart of Christchurch. It reflects the history and culture of this place.

There is currently very little to like about this place, which is sad, as it used to be a busy central point with a beautiful Cathedral. Allow a few minutes to look at the progress being made on rebuilding the Cathedral. There are a few foods stalls operating out of converted shipping containers and some construction workers with fluoro vests and hardhats.

Amazing to see the damaged cathedral and read the history on the fence. Worth a look
