Very very poor customer service, at Chartwell specsavers. I ordered 2 prs of glasses for 499.00 These were due on the 15/02/2021 but were delayed. I phoned on the 25/02/2021 to find out when these would be in they said they left a message on my phone (I have no messages from them.) I made an appointment for 430 pm and went in to collect the glasses, when I tried them on they had only ordered reading lenses instead of the occupational lenses that I required. They said that they made a mistake but it would cost me 200 more to get the glasses that i ordered. What a rip off. I then asked to speak to the manager but was told he was not in until tomorrow. The duty team leader lacked leadership and backbone. When I stated that he wasn't very good at his job he accused me of abusing him. I guess that is why he works in this shop. The help was poor the customer service appalling from Chartwell specsavers. I finally spoke with the owner who would not budge initially and then said if I handed back one pair I could get the other pair at no extra cost. So I went through this process only to be told at the end that I could only have one pair of glasses for 499.00 this was an even worse position where as two pairs would have been 350 dollars each one pair was now 500 dollars. What a waste of time and money for my first pair of glasses. A shocking experience from all staff concerned right from the assistant that couldn't read my prescription to the owner of Chartwell specsavers. Poor skills, poor service, poor training and poor management.

Waste of money. My glasses are thick and heavy and expensive, also I cannot see properly. I prefer the 2.00 from the 2 shop. Way cheaper and does such a better job. I can see both long and short distances in 1 pair of 2.00 glasses. I am going to keep with the 2.00, no matter what anyone says.

Being my very first time to pick some actual occupational frames, I was quite unsure of the process to purchase, choosing frames and pricing. At the chartwell branch a welcoming, friendly, courteous and informative Kaylah helped me find my glasses. She explained the process, helped me (with honesty) choose my frames, explained the pricing and then attended to me for me fitting on the day of collection. I was so impressed with Kaylahs professionalism and kind manner that I have already told others to visit chartwell spec savers! I highly recommend them!

Very poor service and communication between staff and customers, no friendly welcome. The young lady had booked my appointment at the time chartwell closes and didn’t bother to call me to reschedule, there fault from their end. Will not be coming here ever again.

Wow this place just never ceases to amaze me with it's awesome customer service. Went in with broken glasses. Came out with a new pair exactly the same. Fantastic! Thank you Anthony!

We went to have a eye exam today the staff were lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend going there for any optical issues. Unusual these days to have happy retailers keep up your awesome work.
