Perfect for under 5s. However last few times i was there there were groups of high school kids bullying younger kids. Toilets are also not particularly good. Use the mall ones

What a fabulous park. So much for the toddlers to explore safely. From sandpit, a rock climbing cave, a walkable seasaw to the usual swings slides and roundabouts. There has been alot of thought gone into accomodating for the toddlers. Awesome. Although there was parking for the mall there were no 'mum & pram' parking allocations near the park.
Brilliant play park. It's closed in so kids can play and roam without issue. But visitors if the bins are full, take your rubbish with you. Stacking it in top and around the bin just makes the place untidy
Lovely playground with quite a bit of variety. The car park can get quite busy but it's worth braving it if you'd like to get your young ones out of the house. Parents tend to be very social too. Easy to recommend.
In Good Weather this is an Excellent playground for Younger children, something you can promises them if they are good at the shops then they get 15 minutes play time or this is a great place to drop the kids off (if they are older enough age 13 or older) and go shopping for a few minutes. As the shops are only 20 mtr or so across the car-park. If this comment was helpful please give it a like.
My two year old loves this park. There is a huge variety of things to play on and it's a lovely spot for a picnic.
This playground is great if you have got smaller kids and find Margaret Mahey Playground too big and crowded. There is a lot of variety offered and it's well accessible for parents to play with their toddlers.
Been having some visits here with my family and friends. The kids love the playground while I can park up in my deck chair and relax under the trees
