Shortly after we moved to NZ I was asking around for the name of a gentle dentist (I have sensitive teeth and gums) a friend recommended Duxton's. Over 16 years as a patient the staff have consistently offered thoughtful solutions to my concerns, backed up with a high level of professional skills; nothing ever seems like too much trouble for this happy team. So if you are nervous of dentistry and want that little extra care and understanding I suggest ringing the friendly reception team and booking an introduction appointment.

I've always hated the dentist. I used to dread the day of any dental appointment no matter how big or small. The team at Duxton has helped to fix this. They provide such an incredible service. Have had nothing but fabulous professional service each visit to Duxton. Whether it be Megan (hygienist) or Christine (dentist) or, other support staff. Sonya who did my initial panoramic photos etc was just lovely and so personable. All reception/auxiliary are friendly an d helpful and make you feel relaxed and at home. i love this practice so much I have recommended it to many friends and family members. I had whitening treatment prior to my son's wedding and have had numerous great comments about my teeth which were very grey from lots of penicillin as a child. Can't thank this team enough.
The friendliest dental group you could imagine!!!! I went in thinking braces was my only option not having heard of a much less expensive procedure i ended up getting. I thought filling the gap between my teeth would make them look bulky and weird but they ended up being nice and proportionate to the rest of my teeth. very happy with the end result. Hate the dentist but the staff were lovely and made it alot easier.
The team at Duxton Dental are all so friendly, and in particular are fantastic with my children. My kids love going to the dentist, which isn't something you hear often!
I am a lifetime "fraidy cat" when it comes to dentists - but the team here really are magnificent. Fromt the front desk to the people in your mouth they are welcoming, informative and considerate. And we all know that any dentistry doesn't come cheap - so the main thing is to feel like, and know, you get the corresponding quality of service and value for that money. I never thought I'd recommend a dentist to anyone - but I have to recommend Duxton Dental because they deliver excellent service and obviously care about what they do.
These guys are fantastic - absolutely fastidious about quality and meticulous in their work in my experience and from everything I've heard. Most of my extended family goes here.
