Great van, great staff, great experience and great price. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to hire. Much to our surprise, we had some of the best sleeps of our lives in the back of this van. We had a pitstop at an air bnb for a few days and couldn't wait to be sleeping back in the van again

I've just used Escape Campers to do a 2 week tour right around the South Island, and loved every minute of it! The vehicle offered me the perfect accommodation for my trip. Reasonably cheap to run (I averaged about 11L per 100Km over 4000 kms) and surprisingly comfortable for sleeping in. I'm 5' 10" and had no issues lying out flat without banging my head. Well equipped as standard too. The proof of the pudding is "would I ever use them again?" to which the answer is "I'm already planning my next trip" :D

Me and my wife hired a van for about 2 weeks. It was great! We got very good explanation about everything at the beginning and all in the van was working perfectly. The van have all we could need, is very easy to drive, handy to park and fast to convert into bed/table. We also had a toilet in the van that we never used as NZ is plenty of free toilets everywhere, but this fact makes the van "self-contained" so is possible to camping in free spots :) We absolutely recommend Escape rentals.

These guys were so great! We got upgraded to a “self contained” van for free just because there was one available- they chucked in some extra bits and pieces really cheap and gave us heaps of great ideas on where to go and what to see. Checking the van in and out only took about ten minutes and they helped us get to and from the airport. This was the most user friendly rental ever!! I highly recommend Escape Rentals. The van was great and had all the basics for a roadie. Free extra pillows and duvet were awesome. 11 nights in the South Island- perfect
