This bridge between Hayley park and the botanic gardens is great for watching the Avon river flow by. With the water being so clear you can see the bottom and also the ducks swimming and playing in the water. It's wide enough for about 4 people standing side by side to walk across it.

What a beautiful scenery like a paint! We parked our car on the carpark next to this river. Then walk through it to the Christchurch Botanic Garden. I can say that this is the most wonder scene in the Garden.
