Good supermarket and relatively new Good services and good quality
like
The staff members are always so friendly and helpful. At first I was surprised by the higher prices. But lately for the last 3 weeks, I have been coming here. They do offer certain good deals if you look for them. I noticed the number of items on offer has increased too. Keep the good deals coming. I bought a good sized strawberry plant for only 1.49 The strawberries on the plant were practically ripe for eating .Bananas were 1.99 per kilo. Their products are of high quality, for example, the pork mince was super lean and fresh unlike those at Countdown and Pak n Save. In fact, I found prices at Ferrymead Countdown rather high, adding up very quickly for just a few items, especially in the meat section. Anyway, I find that it's usual (at least for me ) to visit different supermarkets to get the best deals.
Really nice shop. Good variety of products. Easy parking.
Someone at the head office brain trust needs loose their job. Used to be a nice new world which we went to regularly. Now as a four square they have removed the very nice deli and replaced it with an oversized alcohol section, not to mention the prices have gone up dramatically. Must think the locals are stupid. Was totally empty and depressing when I went in there and I felt sorry for the one lonely and bored checkout guy there. Hopeless.
I live about 400 meters down the road from this super market and over the past year the alarm system has been going off repeatedly in the middle of the night. No only does it disturb people’s sleep it also desensitises people to the sound of alarms, so when someone’s house alarm goes off they will be lest likely to respond. They have repeatedly said its going to be fixed, nothing has changed.
As much as I attempt to support Four Square Redcliffs these are some suggestions that Management should take on board asap! 1. Have staff actually welcome shoppers into your shop. I have only been welcomed once by a delightful man with facial hair. Thank you as you msde my shopping experience so good on tthis occasion. 2. At check out have the staff say hello and ask me how our/ my day is- be personable. Yesterday (13/1) the two staff member wete chatting amongst themselves when I came to their check out- good grief do you want my custom or not?! 3. Have staff training now and on going, the basis of how would the staff like to be treated and do likewise with us your customers. Your staff need it asap. 4. Your product line is overly priced which is reflected in reduced products on many lines. My opinion is unless these issues are rectified soon your Shop will die a painful death and close before the year is out.
Lovely service, helped to find product, and cout lady was awesome
New World Redcliffs is particularly irksome at the moment rearranging everything so it takes twice as long to find anything if it has not already run out. Before downscaling to a Four Square in a relatively new spacious building some feedback from the locals may have helped get things back on track. In light of recent events and the overall high demand for supermarkets, I would have thought the Foodstuffs chain would endeavour to find a workable solution for the community and staff . Instead they are scaling back service because of low profit margins maybe they need to assess their delivery or product choices. That is for the staff at Redcliffs New World.
