This library is my local but until yesterday I had not read the various notices placed in various locations. The friend I was with encouraged me to read some of them and I was surprised at how many I was interested in. A free booklet "Where from here, essential information for over people " was particularly interesting. I will be taking more notice of what information is placed around.

Great space, lovely staff members. However, it is just as noisy as the other libraries in this city: For some reason Kiwis are incredible respectful and mindful of others everywhere but it's a different thing on libraries. Kids are shouting and running around, teenagers are swearing and listening to loud music and no one does anything to prevent this total chaotic experience. Definitely not a good place for studying or reading a book.

Very well organised to register. The person in the desk was pleasant and very knowledgeable.

The building serves as a community center, Sumner museum, and a library. The building is newer (2016) and has nice light and an open floor plan. As there is an open floor plan the library can be quite loud if there's an event happening on the second floor or just in general with kids running around talking and yelling. In comparison to other libraries, this is not a very quiet one. Other than the noise level - a nice place to relax.

This is a great little library. Good selection of genres in the book shelves and really helpful staff. They've also got a computer bay, open to the public, which you can use to put together a powerpoint, word doc, excel spreadsheet etc. Tip: take a usb stick with you because the computer sessions last half an hour at a time and you have to keep logging in. Overall, a really great service.
