I had the 18 steak with chips and a salad. Was expecting a chewy steak for that price.... but it was GREAT! The staff were very helpful and friendly too :)

This is a really nice tavern to have a good time with friends in a relaxed atmosphere and also for a lunch or dinner with your partner. The attention is very friendly and the food is great. One extra thing that I’ve found awesome about this place is that they have Becks beer on tap which is not very common to see in other places.

This is a popular local pub/eatery. The place was quiet when I ate there, I waited while others who came in after me were served and was about to leave when my food arrived. Standard pub food which was fine. I left just as more people arrived. I most likely won't return but it was evident that the pub is a catch-up place for groups and locals.

Great place to stop for a drink or bite. Met up with some friends and had a few drinks. Purchased a couple of bowls of chips for the table. Chips came out with a selection of sauce and gravy and all was really nice. Great staff, good friendly service. Cheers

In response to review 2weeks ago saying meat raffle is rigged..partner and I went in for the first time ever last sunday for lunch and got a couple of tickets as happened to have change and ladies were very nice but with no expectations (often buy tickets etc but never win anything!) The place was packed with locals for the rugby and we won!! Super stoked mainly because never win anything like that but just wanted to say we were about as random as could be and won. So thats kind of a strange way to rig things. Food was good, large portions and no fuss service but friendly and no trouble getting takeaway containers for what was leftover. I'm always on the look out for underrated local gems and this ticks the boxes, especially as have driven past before and always thought that from the front it doesnt look that great plus never looks like theres any parks but parks round the back and we were really glad we took the chance because it was well worth it! Maybe a little rowdy if looking for a quiet sunday lunch but all in good humour and fun atmosphere.
