Great atmosphere and delicious food with passionate service... The creme brulee which is there menu for past 25 years is a must one to try out plus the cheese platter n wine from pegasus bay...

Eight of us have chosen Saggio di vino because our local friends vouched for it. We have travelled thousands of miles to get here visiting this beautiful country but wasn't expecting getting feed this well, I mean, damn, this place did not disappoint us at all - everything was top notch, food was fabulous, we had chef's table 5 courses menu, truffle menu all with matching wines, we knew their foods were great but we weren't expecting this good, My parents always refuse order pasta dishes in any fine dinning restaurants but this truffle pasta dish is definitely wowed them and us all! The duck dish and pear desert, love love love. So yummy and delish!!! One more highlight was their wine knowledge, their staff definitely knew what they were doing, their Michelin trained chef owner was very hands on too. Overall experience was more than fantastic and we will come visit again for sure!

The ambience is very refined and welcoming, Service is friendly, competent and, at the same time, impeccable. The food is excellent, very good natural ingredients prepared in a simple but very professional way, like the best restaurants in Italy. I would highly recommend it

We ordered 5 course menu. Flavor of the food is okay, however needs more seasoning especially the soup and venison. Fish was lovely I feel like the staff / waiter didn't really care about us. We need to ask for our dessert if its ready and it has been 40 min already. In total we waited 55 min for it. They also didn't bother to explain to us the dish very well. Definitely not worth of my 104.

I gave saggio's 2 stars instead of one because the waiter accommodated my partner by getting him a chocolate yummy drink that was not on the menu because he wanted one and it was on the house and also because the decor of the place and food presentation was nice. However, me and the 3 other people I was with all agreed that the food had no flavor and it was very dull to eat and unstimulating. We were left hungry, with a big bill and no trust in the food, so we went across the road to strawberry fare to have desert.

mixed feelings about my visit here. Definitly liked it better under the old management and menu was not updated online, way to expensive for next to no food.
