Eat ing

Pros: as a Malaysian, the nasi lemak is very accomplished and authentic (rich sambal, fragrant rice of pandan and coconut cream), fried chicken perfectly fried, laksa soup thick and spicy Cons: laksa- doughy noodle texture and didn't have much meat, location (parking difficult in weekday daytime and far from the immigrant suburbs), average teh tarik (Malaysian tea) PS. Thank you Sedap for serving a well-made nasi lemak for us homesick Malaysians (the only nasi lemak in Christchurch that is good)

Great food and friendly chef! Authentic and delicious. Simple menu (3 items) though they are taking suggestions to expand their menu. Pictured is the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken, 15, well worth it!
