We love this bar for it's location on the Riverside and elevated view over the Avon, great for watching everyday people and life walk by. True to its name, it's an Embassy intended for those who want to enjoy a good drink with like minded people, not meeting those who are too pretentious or politically minded. They always have a wide and varied selection of beers to choose from, with well informed staff to advise you on their current run of available kegs and hand-pulled casks. However, they're not limited to beers alone, they have a good choice of wines, spirits and food to complement your visit too. Today we tried a couple of great local gins from Curiosity and enjoyed some peppered Calamari as an appetiser too. Add in some warm Autumn sun on their river facing balcony and our perfectly enjoyable Easter Monday afternoon was finished off beautifully here.

Lunch at Craft Embassy. Excellent location in the heart of The Terrace. If you enjoy craft beer this is the place for you...sooo many on tap. Menu for lunch was good..we had the Duck Breast Salad and Chicken and Avocado Salad...both were delicious. Great view to the Avon. Staff were great. Would definitely go there again

Great atmosphere. Staff were friendly, food was great beer was even better. To top it all of there is a nice outdoors area.

Christmas function with room hire and food brought through. At time bar in separate room had a long wait for drinks. Impressive line up of beers. Could of had more cocktails. Nice room and balcony. Good hostess and food. Food could have come a little faster. All in all a great venue for a function.

Friendly helpful staff, great ambience with energy but isn't too loud so q great place to chat with a drink. A decent range of change craft beers. Had a Icecream IPA - easy drinking with a light sweetness.

My happy place! There is always an amazing selection of beer on tap. Staff are energized and knowledgeable & the view is breathtaking. My 2nd favourite Christchurch beer spot for sure.
