Perhaps this is the best regional park in greater Auckland region in my opinion! There are 2 major entries to the Park; one via an official car park; & the other from the beach. The Park is large enough & consists of different landscapes, & therefore suit ppl with different interest. The Park also offers different experience when u visit there in different season. Strongly recommended!

Keen on an intense walking trail \u200d️ and getting the best view of the Hauraki Gulf, then take a 45 min drive down to Duder Park. Follow the Red, yellow or blue dots on the trail. Red and Yellow trails are moderate, whereas blue can get a bit intense - but worth the view at the end. There's ample parking at the entrance. No restaurants anywhere close, except for the Corner kitchen and bar at Cleveland. So ensure you carry ample drinking water and wear comfy walking shoes.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! The water was just so rich. The farm walk loop took about 2 hours including plenty stops for pictures and a lunch (yes there are few picnic tables and seats along the way...best lunch spot is 'under the tree, on the hill, by the big red barn' you'll know it when you see it; take note of the trees around you when you're there!). Relatively easy walk although some places can be steep! Come prepared for lots of sheep poop on your path, but there are shoe cleaning stations at the start/end. Very short drive to Maretai beach after too!

Beautiful views. Just need to be mindful of encountering cows in your travels - they're everywhere!

Went here for the first time and loved the variety of the walks, we did the farm loop with parts of the sustainable track, as well as doing the Pā walk out to the end of the peninsula and the views were incredible, the animals in the farm part are also fairly friendly.

A really nice place to go to on a sunny and clear day (though I recommend a hat and sunscreen as there isn't a lot of shade out here). Some pretty incredible views and some good walks. A bit hilly, but not too difficult.

Recommend to take the blue trail for the mind blowing view at the end. Up & down approx 7 kms. Well maintained path/tracks with signs to lead you. Ample of parking and toilet facilities. Watch out for the sheep poop nuggets towards the end of the blue trail. Otherwise an amazing walk, and great views. Nature at it's best and a photographers paradise. Unfortunately we forgot to take our dslr, so had to take pics with mobile.. 40 mins drive from Auckland cbd
