Corbett House is a lovely place to stay. The house is a beautiful period home. The bed was very comfy which is very important. Dave and Anja are fabulous hosts. The breakfast was amazing. Can't speak highly enough of our stay.

Best B&B I have ever been to. The house is beautiful and has so much soul and spirit. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly. She took great care of us and made us feel at home.

Wanted to book a special weekend away. The criteria were not too long a drive from Auckland.(1.5hrs-2hrs max) A house with character and good facilities . Interesting stuff to do locally . To this end we struck GOLD with Corbett House. Our Hosts made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The home is rich in history and warmth that breathes from the natural timbers, classic furnishings. Breakfasts are home cooked and enough to satisfy the hungriest, whilst being healthy and sourced locally. We rode the bikes that were provided to and from Karangahake Gorge. Took a well need relax in the Cedar hot tub. Followed with some spirited snooker on the full size table. We stayed two nights here and are looking forward to doing it again. We got back to Auckland feeling refreshed and as though we had had a week away. If you don't mind spending a little extra it truly is worth it and I for one couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We stayed 3 nights at Corbett House recently. Our Hosts were terrific and showed us round and made us feel very welcome from the start. The house is lovely. The hosts have made a big effort with improvements but keeping the character of the house intact. The woodwork is tremendous and gives the house a lovely warm feeling. Our bed was one of the recent additions and very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious, home cooked using eggs from the hens they keep, home made muesli and other home made goodies. We rode the bikes that were provided on part of the nearby Hauraki Rail trail to the Karangahake Gorge and then made good use of the cedar hot tub to relax afterwards. After dinner there was always an enjoyable game of snooker on the full size table. We felt at home here and really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

Corbett House was a great Bed and Breakfast hosted by some fantastic locals in Anja and David. The house is amazing and well looked after. The snooker room was a particular highlight. The breakfast was delicious. Both David and Anja imparted their local knowledge to us, helping to determine where we visited in the area. It was a friendly and accommodating atmosphere (especially the horde of friendly dogs!). Thanks again for awesome stay!

This house built in 1924 is very charming. Everything is so well decorated, and the host very welcoming. We loved the living room with the fireplace and the huge pool table. The bedroom was also very beautiful. The breakfast was good also, we enjoyed the homemade jam along with fruits, cereals, toasts and a croissant. The garden is beautiful also, with a lovely old magniolia that started to flourish for us (in mid-august!).

Beautiful place, here for a wedding. Even in the rain the venue was well prepared and pulled off an amazing celebration. If 10 stars was a thing that's what they'd get
