Carrick Estate Vineyard is situated within the unique micro climate of Bannockburn in Central Otago. The vineyards are managed using sustainable viticulture practices, and yields are low. Carrick Vineyard is currently in transition towards formal organic certification. We will have full organic status from February 2011. Pinot Noir is Carrick's flagship wine and other varieties made include Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. Unravelled is Carrick’s declassified Pinot Noir. Key figures are Principal, Steve Green, Winemaker, Jane Docherty and Viticulturist, Blair Deaker. Carrick wines have received many accolades both in New Zealand and overseas. Our award winning lunchtime restaurant specialises in innovative cuisine and uses local, seasonal and organic produce. The Chef is Chef Janet Lyall.
