Better than your average KFC. KFC Dannevirke is located on the southern end of High St on SH2. At the time it was built it was the smallest KFC in New Zealand, the first of the boutique franchise branches. It has a drive through and both indoor and outdoor seating. It provides the typical range of KFC fare at their typical prices and standards of delivery. Happen to be passing through Dannevirke and fancy some chicken? This is your place.

Stopped in when passing through Dannevirke. Fast service and hubby said the burger and chips were very good. Toilets had not been cleaned for some time, only let down.
The menu above the counter said there were 3 wicked wings in the wicked lunch. My receipt said 3 wicked wings, chips and drink. When I got home to enjoy it there were only 2 wings in the pack. Surely you can have staff on the counter that can count. This is not the first time I've been short-changed by KFC Dannevirke. I'm too far away to go back for 1 wing so you may not see me until I've been disappointed by all other fast food shops in my town.

Food was excellent service great, but the equipment is terrible. The efptos is out of order and they don't even have a crushed machine. Pity, cause I am addicted to the stuff.
I do not like paying for food that I know I will not Eat. The staff need to listen to their customers and give them what they ask for. Also the chips were cold and even my dog would not eat them .Finished up giving chips to birds. Will I go back. Very very unlikely!!!
Quick service and very helpful staff letting me know what was not available that night very friendly service
The young man was serving on his own as others at lunch. Took awhile to place our orders but didn't take long after that. Pleasant attitude. Toilets very clean.
