Great experience! The driver was helpful & a good bus driver. The added details of the conditions of the walk was very helpful. Pick up was prompt & the driver kindly waited for our entire group at the end of day. Sorry I missed the drivers name but he was great! Five star experience, thank you Dempsey Buses

Booked for Tongariro crossing. Morning drop off was prompt and received a good brief prior to walk. However, pickup service was clunky. Had to change drivers at the national park and second driver was late to swap. Was very frustrating given we were tired and looking forward to a hot shower.
Our group of 15 was met at Whakapapa Village, taken up to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and picked up at the end. Our shuttle driver Megan was excellent - perfect for the job. She was positive, professional, and friendly and took great care to explain what we needed to know and to reassure us that we would not be left on the mountain, no matter what happened and when. Highly recommended!!
We were staying in Raetihi and used the Tongariro Crossing shuttle provided by Dempsey Buses. Couldn't fault the service. Everything was punctual and both drivers were really friendly and helpful. We were the the last drop off on the way back and the driver even kindly drove a bit further past the drop off point to let us off right outside where we were staying and save our tired legs!

Booked the shuttle for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The bus was comfortable and arrived/left exactly at the times specified. The only issue was the return times the driver told us at the trailhead and the return times on our booking email differed slightly (by 30 mins). If we had missed the driver’s announcement or had any sort of language barrier, that might have caused some confusion/frustration after a long hike. Luckily the return time change worked in our favor so it wasn’t an issue for us.
