Staff were real friendly and so eager to help. Explained what was wrong with my car as best as they could and always explored the different affordable options. Not the absolute cheapest place but not expensive, and the friendliness and hard work of the staff make it worth the little bit extra.

Thank you so much for helping us out. We got flat tyre that morning, and couldnt get quick response after contacting rental company since Saturday. We googled Midas and Warwick really helped us. He is so kind to recommwnd us to visit around, and also tell us what we be careful pn our cases. Nice people.
Broke down in Dunedin & was towed to this business. I absolutely do not recommend this business. No communication and when there was, it was lacking in knowledge and reassurance. Did not get more insight (required auto electrician) until I got the franchise head office to call them. Eventually had vehicle towed to another garage as I did not have the time to be messed about by Warwick....very unprofessional service.
I called in last minute and they fit me in for a tire patch. All the guys were super nice, didn’t try to sell me any extra BS, and just fixed my tire for free and fast. I was out of there in a half hour.
Been ripped-off a number of times by these guys - finally I've learned. Found non-existent problems to fail me on my warrant. Over-charged me for simple jobs. Had to return to get the job done correctly. Extremely dodgy - steer clear of these charlatans!
I fixed my car here and the price was totaly reasonable. They provide punctual service and even when my car still had tiny problem related to previous service in the next day, they just fixed that straight away without charging me. Very responsible team!
Was ripped off by them multiple times and finally learned my lesson. The worst case was when I was charged half a grand for a "mechanical issue" in my middle console when all I asked for was the small plastic covering that covers the gear numbers to be glued back in place as it had fallen in on itself, so a cosmetic thing, my car was still drive-able. They told me it wouldn't take long and wouldn't cost much then I come back to find they had taken the whole middle console out and repaired something that was apparently broken which I was not aware of, and then after paying this absurd amount of money I find they broke my gear stick and I couldn't use my 1st gear anymore. I organised an appointment to bring it back to them to fix their mistake, along with a battery recharge as my battery had just died before this appointment. I took it back and they ended up charging me 55 for the battery recharge and told me they "forgot" about fixing my gear stick They then proceeded to try and convince me my battery was years old and they really needed to replace it ASAP and told me it would cost over 200, but I was very aware this was a lie as my battery was not "years old" as they claimed. I was very unhappy with this and find it disgusting that they were willing to rip me off multiple times, break my gear stick then claim to have forgotten to fix it. I will NOT be going back to this place, I felt completely disrespected and used and this is not something I will put up with or want other young women or anyone to experience. EDIT - I took my car in specifically for the plastic covering to be repaired, not a "smart service".
