A lovely creek! However it's claims of being the second deepest body of water in the southern hemisphere seems a bit dubious however I have limited experience to judge.

An absolute delight for a nice walk through the woods. A variety of paths is available. Go see the beautiful reservoir. Explore New Zealand.
Lovely foliage and walk
The tracks a bit rough in some places where there have been slips, but otherwise great, very pretty where they did the work around the dam
Hidden gem of a little walk
Entry to Ross Creek come to one of Dunedin's most underrated track. Great undulation and just a nice place to walk or run. Get amongst nature by going past the resouvir or take the trek up to the pineapple track and then onto flagstaff. Parking available in most areas but advisable to avoid walking or running here during an absolute downpour as there has been substantial damage to the track in the past and seems to be constantly in repair.
Great walking track close to town
remedial work undertaken by DCC looks really good
