Very cool little retro theater. Went to a burlesque show here. Drinks were cheap, entertainment was good, bathroom facilities were good. Only thing was the rows of seats were so close together it made it impossible to go to the bathroom or get refreshments during the show without disrupting everyone in the row! But would not stop me going again!

What a wonderful evening! Such a cute setting. And absolute treasure of Dunedin performance theatre. Tight squeeze into the seats but makes for a very intimate and engaging experience.

Great atmosphere. Went for children's play and took grand daughter. No coffee available at intermission otherwise enjoyable and professional production.

The Playhouse press a lot of effort into their children's shows. Not often used for agile productions, but available to hire.

Took grandchildren to Alice in Wonderland. It was fun, fast moving. At the end they invited the children to come on the stage and meet them .

A great local theatre, with wonderful children's plays. It's been running for years, and is as wonderful today as it was back then.
