Second "planned outage" this year without notice. Not ideal living rural with a young child who I now can't give a bottle or heat up food for. It's not as easy to shoot round to a friend's when the nearest friend is 20 minutes away in town
EA Networks, the trading name of Electricity Ashburton, is very responsive and professional when contacted. Their staff are focussed on keeping the lights on and the internet connected. Because EA Networks is a co-operatively owned company all electricity consumers in Mid Canterbury are shareholders. In the past EA Networks has paid an annual deferred discount to all shareholders in March each year, which is based on consumption throughout the year.
