Great place for a quick short walk with fantastic summit views of Akaroa harbour and the Pacific Ocean. On a good day you can see all the way to the Kaikora mountains and all the way down the southern Alps.

Beautiful! Make sure to take a headlamp when you want to watch watch the sunset! And better return before dark!

This is a beautiful reserve that allows for 360 views of some of the best Banks Peninsula bays including Akaroa Harbour, Hickory and Le Bons bays. Can't beat it on a clear day. An easy 15min walk up to the lookout point is very much worth the small amount of effort as it really is stunning.
