Accommodation was nice and spacious, however our room was a bit run down. Heater wasn’t working and there is no fan in the bathroom so the whole place felt a bit damp. The beer selection at the boat shed was excellent. Pizza was a bit average, but I was told the meals at the main restaurant were much better.

Punga Cove Resort is my favourite place in the Queen Charlotte Sounds. Our group of 18 people kayaked in and out and stayed for one awesome night. The restaurant/bar is bathed in sunshine and right on the water with a fun vibe and charming manager. We loved the pool and huge spa and the buffet brekkie was super yummy. Our accommodation was up a steep hill and had shared facilities but comfy and immaculate. Will def go back and stay longer.
We felt the accommodation was over priced, tired, and not that clean. On the plus side the hot shower, comfortable bed and spacious unit was appreciated after a day walking. The food was average and the pizzas were definitely not as good as our last visit. The wine list was also average compared to Furneaux Lodge.
Epic beer selection! Average pizza. Super dated accommodation your grandma would be proud of. One of the heaters in our cabin was broken so we had a fairly chilly night. The water was also suspiciously brown when we were there but was apparently still safe to drink. Breakfast in the morning was the saddest looking buffet you’ve ever seen but was surprisingly decent when you got stuck in. Views to die for which is what got Punga its 3rd star from me.
As beautiful, relaxing and fun as everyone else has said. My partner and I stayed for 2 amazing nights. I'm also in an electric wheelchair, and the people couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming, even building ramp for us. For those with access needs, I suggest staying at chalet 1 :) Thanks heaps
A really nice place, beautifully located. Great swimming pool and food at the wharf restaurant. Kayaks to rent for free, bean bags everywhere. Even the hikers’ accommodation was very decent with an access to bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Pricey but you pay for the location and remoteness. Would come back for a longer stay.
Beautiful location with lovely grounds close by the waters edge. Pool, Spa & a great bar available. We stayed in the Basecamp Double and it was great. Shared bathrooms, showers & kitchen which were clean and tidy. Steep walk up the hill. Wifi available only down near reception/bar. Comfortable bedding. Great food down at the Bar
