Varied and tasty menu.. Friendly and smiling happy staff.. Coffee is great.. Views that calm and relax.. Souvenir and clothes and treats shop incorporated in the cafe which is roomy and light filled.. Great place to stop for a bite and a coffee and rest..

Great coffee and a lot of sweets to buy. They also have a shop for goods. Super cosy fire place, was awesome during the winter time. Highly recommended place if you’re in the near.

My friends and I loved this place! I had the ham panini which was delicious! The ambiance was really nice and it was the perfect place for brunch on a rainy morning. We loved their playlist as well plus the staff were amazing!

It's always a bit of a gamble stopping stopping off at an unknown Cafe during a road trip but rest assured, this is a safe bet. Spacious and tidy with good coffee and food, this place has great views over the rolling hills and an outside area set right up against the fields if you really want to soak up the peaceful farmland atmosphere.

really good drinks and food :) beautiful views and really kind staff!! i definitely recommend this cafe if you're passing through. top notch melting moments as well. the goat is a little bit of a comedian, it seems, as it tried to eat my mum's shirt!

It’s indeed a long drive from Aoraki to Christchurch, so Farm Barn Cafe was a very pleasant surprise we found more or less by chance, after a failed attempt to get a view from the Fairlie-Geraldine Lookout on a very overcast afternoon. Great gluten free options - we had a sandwich and dessert, coffee game on point, welcoming staff. Make sure to check out the beautiful view of the farmlands in the back. This happened back in mid-March, just a tad before everything started to escalate. Writing this now brings back good memories. Wish I can go back one day. :)
