Farming Mums NZ was set up as an online support group for Farming women and because of a need for friendship and understanding that can survive the barriers of rural isolation. Since it’s inception in 2013 FMNZ has grown to over 11,000 members (June 2018) and is continuing to grow by approx 30-50 members per week. We have a very active membership; it’s not unusual to have 50-80 individual posts per day and over 75,000 engagements per 28 days The group covers rural women from all age groups, from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South.
