I stayed here 8/2/21. The perfect location for anyone wanting a base to explore Milford. Facilities are clean and tidy, showers are piping hot. Friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my walk up to the waterfall, I even made a friend of a South Island Robin during my walk. Such a special place, I am so grateful to have had the chance to stay.

Amazing place, friendly staff! Very closer to all the walks around Milford, nice view from the rooms and very nice hot showers :)
Excellent stopping point for a bathroom stop when traveling with children. Plenty of space and bathroom amenities.
Great to have a clean pitstop along this remote road.
Thanks PC and Isla for sharing this truly gorgeous part of the world with us. Stunning views, close to lots of hiking trails, comfy, clean, well stocked room and no cell service - simply perfect! We loved it and will hopefully get back one day.
Amazing camp ground deep in Fiordland national park, one of the last full camp ground before Milford. The bush bath is an extra special treat
We enjoyed the stay there. The caretaker will be there until 3.30pm. But, you can check in any time, 20 per person. Hot shower, fully loaded kitchen, but limited space.
The staff (Ella?) was very friendly and gave us some suggestions on nearby sightseeing. We camped here in mid Oct, when the weather was still quite cold, so we had whole camp ground for ourselves. Kitchen is a bit small but OK for short time visit. Before Milford Sound, this camp site is the last one with flushed toilet and hot shower. The price (20 pp) was reasonable. We had a great stay here. However, still beware of sandflies in this area
