All the boxes that had country of origin were from China. Quality was extremely poor. China can make better quality than here

I regularly visit the French Country Collection outlet store in Pollen Street, Grey Lynn as they have such a stunning range of beautiful French inspired homewares. The staff are fantastic to deal with so has become my go to place when looking for birthday gifts. Was thrilled to discover the French Country Store online store with an even bigger range of curated French provincial country furniture and homeware.

This is a wonderful wholesaler. Unfortunately you can't buy direct from this store unless you are a retailer, however they do have a seconds store right next door and there is a list of nationwide stockists on their website.

We had a bad experience with a purchase from their stock at Ballantynes Christchurch. We had a couple of clay La Chambre casserole dishes break on us NOT due to dropping or mishandling. They refused to do anything about replacing them, fortunately Ballantynes came to the party as honourable retailers who knew our long and honest history with them and I'm sure communicated that to French Country. Good luck to anyone wanting to replace faulty stock. Tim Deans
