The food is tasty/good and worth/value for money. However, the service needs to be improved. I guess they need to put some effort to understand the great culture of this land. Yes, the good and kind-hearted people of New Zealand are so welcoming to those from outside the islands and foreign culture. Those from outside should try to adjust or melt into this friendly island culture. None will lose anything by smiling at their customers.

Always good. Lovely fish, generous portions, friendly efficient staff. No wonder we're regulars! There's another chippery nearer us, but this one is better & cheaper.

Fresh Mussels, Crispy squid rings and home made tartare sauce were the favourites. Fish seems to be very flavourful and the portion size is promising. My best fish and chips joint amidst all the takeaways in Auckland. Go for it!

PLEASE turn the fryer temperature up. Took forever. Food only just cooked. FYI: Fish & Chips have to be deep-fried in HOT oil. Stop penny-pinching. AND OPEN ON A SUNDAY NIGHT !!!!

One of the best fish and chips in Auckland. Delicious and cooked to perfection, good sized portions. The owners are kind and hospitable. The decor is outdated and not the most appealing, but the fresh food makes up for it.

They are a fishmonger too so the fish here is 100% fresh and they cook it well. Ask for the chips super crispy. No fancy branding and nonsense, just a good old school f&c joint. Best value in the GL/Pons area, keep up the good work.
