We were looking for a place to eat on good Friday for 12 people. Staff made space for us and were very welcoming. Food was great. Service very good. Went back for lunch next day thanks guys.

One of the most satisfying meals I had for my tour of South Island. What an amazing value of money. After a drive of over 3 hours a beautiful hearty lunch we had. From a traditional Caesar chicken salad to an extraordinary Loaded wedges and delightful Chicken Parmigiani. Beautiful house Pinot noir. Staff was very welcoming and ensured we were comfortably seated before placing the order. An amazing experience and very well prepared meals. Well done team. A must visit when in Greymouth!

Stellar place for a feed right beside the mighty Mawhera! Staff are very friendly and passionate and turnout decent, well priced food. Housed in a beautifully restored old building with ample parking, and walking distance from a lot of different accomodation
No real issues but wasn't blown away on any level. Food was fine, basically what you expect from a Speights Ale house. Front of house staff were very busy, only 2 of them, so this ment the service may not have been up to their usual standard.

Very knowledgeable staff. Gave me tasters so I could pick the right beer. The highlight was seeing the staff shoo away seagulls with a super soaker water gun! Very badass.
