I went to purchase furniture that was advertised in store and it wasn't there. I ordered the furniture in store and paid for it. Upon payment the lady asked for an extra 20 as she had processed my my order as a click and collect. I had to argue that I should not be charged as the items should have been in store already. Further down the track I've been eagerly awaiting for and email to say that my items have arrived so I decided to call the store and got Sharon who answered the phone. When she asked for my order number i asked where I could find it ( on the receipt). She was quite rude and just said " on the receipt".... She said my stuff was there and I asked for how long it had been there and she just hung up on me. For such a large business, I'd expect them to employ people that understand about simple consumer laws and reasonable customer service. I do not like to spend my money in places that treat customer's like dirt. From now on I won't be going the Greymouth Warehouse. I'll just wait and go over to Christchurch instead where at least I get treated nicely at the stores over there by staff who do treat customer's with the level of respect they deserve.

Great place to shop for groceries. Short walk away from the hotel I was staying at. Hardly saw anybody in the streets, probably because I was visiting in Jun 2014 and it was really cold outside :D

I live far away in a rural area and whenever i order something i always choose click and collect cause ive experience ordering and getting it deliver to my address for 1 large item and it took a month to arrive so click and collect was easier. I ordered 4 items from them and i waited for everything to arrive at greymouth store, recieved email and checked if everything was ready and it says so. So when i went there on my available days which is very few i was given 1 box expecting everything to be in there. Had to drive 3 hours to get there cause its the nearest from where i live. When i arrived home it was missing some of the items. I called to complain and the lady that answered me was very rude. She told me that another box was there for me and it has just arrived this morning and i know that was a lie cause i have the email prooving that it was ready for collection days ago. She told me in a very bad manner that next time i order something i should just get it deliver to my address and i explained it to her that it isnt convenient for me. I have ordered and chose click and collect alot of times and it went smoothly. A very bad customer service from that lady who answered the phone and the one who gave me the parcel who didn't also inform me there was another box for me to collect. So i have to go back and drive for hours just to get that other parcel. A waste of time and money for gas. The lady didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience.
