Shane from the general store rented one of their kayaks to us. He was super friendly and helpful and no pressure if we weren't back on the dot. We were given a phone for emergencies, bottled water and one of their super yum gelato ice creams when we got back.. soo good. I highly recommend renting a kayak from these guys.

Love this convenient little store. Great range, everything you might need. I think the prices are reasonable considering you would have to travel 35 mins to go to a regular supermarket. The owners are always kind and helpful with a smile and have done a great revamp since taking over. The gelatos are great too.

Friendly staff and decent variety of products. I found it to be extremely expensive, found 50-100% increase in everything I looked for and this was off-season (late April).

Charged 8.20 for a can of deep spring flavoured water - lemon/lime/orange. Queried it but the guy was sure. An absolute rip! I am a Whiti local but won't support them again.

Gelato huge thumbs up. There’s a huge range of options including quite a few vegan ones which I was impressed with. They were yum and a decent price point considering the vegan options. We returned the next day for a smoothie. Not that great to be honest. Hardly any flavor and tasted like they added lots of ice. The worse part is that it’s served in a plastic smoothie cup with a plastic straw. Quite unfortunate to see considering the beach is 200 m away.

The woman that works in this store is very rude. Would rather chat to her friend than serve customers. Didn’t want to serve two ice creams incase the store got busy, even though it took two minutes as we were the only people in there. Felt like we really inconvenienced her!

Expensive but we'll stocked. Also sells sandwiches and rolls for lunch at cathedral cove.
