I had 7 IPL hair removal treatments at Cliniva but only had a temporary and very slight reduction in hair growth, before it grew back just as bad as ever. After visiting a different laser clinic, the therapist informed me that it was hormonal hair growth which doesn't generally get good results from laser hair removal, and that the original technician should have discussed this with me before signing me up for a plan. Pretty disappointed and felt a bit mislead by Cliniva. I understand the technician was from a nursing background and had no experience in beauty therapy. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the technician was very friendly. Just unfortunately not knowledgeable in the ways of beauty therapy.
