Very spacious house with adequate supplies. Short walk to town centre. Amazing views on surroundings.
Their motto is a "Home away from home","There's no place like a home". Unfortunately you question this ethical quote when your own "home" turns out to be better than the property you rent,and uncannily true with the latter when it turns out to be a bit less than expected for modern day standards. Its like owning a Lexus and hiring a Lada. So with HHH. It seems that the company has no acceptable standard or system of accrediting, regulation as to what sort of property they rent or hold on their books.35b Denby is a classic example. Their ethos seems to be about hiring the maximum available, mostly substandard properties within the local market to a monopolised extent. It seems that no audits are in place to ensure any acceptable level of hygiene, cleanliness,or property maintainance is maintained. This lack of approach only seems to damage their brand. And frankly I will not be hiring from them in the future.
There was a wasps nest in the house we were staying in and a fairly big one at that it wasn't good.
Have booked a few times before. Great customer service and very easy to book. U arrive after 2 and keys are in a lock box and they txt u the code for the box. Way better than booking a hotel room when you can get a whole house. Works out very cheap if you can get a house with alot of beds and go up with friends and family and split the cost. me and family got a house for weekend. Easy and hassle free. Thanks again
Extremely appalled and upset by how i was treated here. I booked a place to stay for a family tradition as it is my father's birthday who has passed, and was accused of being another guest who they had previously rejected. After explaining i have no relation to them and willing to provide any necessary identification they rudely cancelled my booking with no good reason!. Very unprofessional.
I have been looking at a place to stay at Hanmer soon, unfortunately your rates are far to expensive for the average kiwi. We are not overseas tourist. If you business wants local people then you need to review your price's. Regards Paul
My rave review is about the amazing follow up service from Nicola at Hanmer Holiday Homes. I left something behind and she personally went back to search herself as two others were unable to find it. The fact she cared enough to go the extra mile for me was so appreciated. And yes she found the lost property! Fantastic customer service.
