The burgers are gooooood. The place was neat and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, even tho they gave me the wrong order originally. Hence the 4 stars. No problem changing it after I already took 2 bites

Do you have an hour to waste sitting in a car waiting for cold food? Then maybe you'd enjoy Carl's Jr. Hastings. Consistently food arrival time takes up to an hour for a small order. The shortest wait I have had is 20 minutes. The food itself somehow manages to be worse than you could imagine it to be. The bread is consistently stale, and soggy at the same time, everything is served below room temperature (the centre of my burgers were actually chillingly cold) and none of the service staff give a damn if it upsets you. The cleanliness inside the restaurant is awful also. I've yet to see a table be cleared. It is a shame. When this restaurant first opened, the standards were higher than many others around the bay. Now though, it is nothing short of abysmal. My recommendation... Only eat here if you are a fan of punishing yourself.
Food was OK. Chips very poorly packaged, as the holder was almost flat, so chip volume was lean. Chips also cold as we needed to wait on burgers being cooked, it appears they may have packaged Chips first and left them waiting. Also park up while waiting is risky. Staff member dented our car after slaming door into our car, as door opens onto park up park!!
Chips always seem to be somewhat cold/warm like they have been sitting a while before hand over. Drinks are either not fizzy, watered down/no flavor or a mix of the 2. Don't get me wrong your burgers are great just those 2 things that are a regular occurrence when I go there.
Fast service, great food. Recommend the chicken and bacon burger.

Went to get 2 milkshakes ordered and paid fairly quick and was asked to park and wait, 30 minutes later in the pissing rain decided to go find out what was taking so long, only to find out that there was a problem with there eftpos machine. I was told the payment didn't go through, even though I could see the money had come out of my account (no other car had this issue in front or behind me I was the only one) not sure why I wasn't told that before I went to park up, and that it took me coming into the store to find out, after talking with the guy who served me was told I had to pay again! So asked to speak to the manager who in my opinion looked to be a frightened little boy, he said I had to prove the payment or pay again. So after a heated discussion about how ridiculous this all was I proved the payment and finally got my milkshakes with stuff all apologies and an hour of my time wasted.
